Every piece is unique
Our lampshades are not made on an assembly line but step by step by hand. From the first sketch to the finished light, every piece stays in our workshop – so we control quality, materials and details ourselves.

From Wood to Lampshade
Five steps to your light.

Schritt 1
Design & Pattern
It all starts with an idea: pattern and shape are created on the computer. Every ornament is planned to create a harmonious play of light and shadow later on – and so the wood can be bent or slotted together cleanly.

Schritt 2
Laser Cutting
The laser cuts the pattern into the wood with a precision of a tenth of a millimetre. This creates delicate structures that would hardly be possible by hand.

Schritt 3
Bending & Shaping
Now it's time for handwork: the cut wood is carefully bent into its round shape, fixed and glued. For our interlocking systems, the individual parts are fitted together precisely.

Schritt 4
Sanding & Waxing
Edges are sanded and the surface gently waxed. This protects the wood and brings out its natural grain.

Schritt 5
Assembly & Inspection
Finally, every light is fully assembled, individually inspected and carefully packed – so it arrives safely.
Also included: a lamp socket for direct installation.
